The story of Sheridans started with brothers Seamus and Kevin in 1995 when they began to sell farmhouse cheeses from their stall at the Galway Saturday Market. Having soon opened their first shop in Galway City they added other artisan food produce such as olive oils and cured meats to their already heaving cheese displays. While also being represented by a third partner, Fiona Corbett, at the Temple Bar Food Market in Dublin and with a second shop in the nation’s capital, the Galway shop now boasts since 2003 a new wine bar & shop. Selling over one hundred wines, predominantly Italian and exclusive to Sheridans, this makes a great place to step away from the crowds of the city and enjoy a selection of Irish and Continental farmhouse cheeses and cured meats with a tipple of wine. Definitely one for the foodies out there.
