Dublin to Shannon Tour Itinerary
Day One
Arrival at Dublin Airport and collection of prebooked car hire.
Rest of the day at leisure to visit Dublin highlights.
Overnight at Quality Dublin City Hotel.
Day Two
Full Irish Breakfast. Departure to Sligo along the route N3, Cavan Road via Navan.
Possibility to visit the historic town of Trim whose castle was used as setting for the movie “Braveheart”.
Arrival in Sligo and overnight in local B&B/Farmhouse.
Day Three
Full Irish Breakfast. We would suggest a visit to the historic site of Carrowmore.
Continue along Killala Bay to Achill Island for a full day excursion to the largest island of Ireland.
A real heaven for fishing, rich of archaelogical areas and important Gaeltacht centre.
Overnight in Westport surrounding in a traditional Inn.
Day Four
Full Irish breakfast. A scenic drive down Leenane Fjord will lead you to Kylemore.
Visit Kyle more Abbey and it's Gardens.
Continuation across Connemara’s landscapes.
Overnight at Zetland House.
Day Five
Full Irish breakfast. You can drive to Rossaveal and catch the ferry to one of Aran Islands: Inishmore, Inishmere or Inishman.
Tour the island by foot. bike, coach or horse and cart.
Back to the mainland by ferry you can drive to Galway City in the evening.
Overnight at Days Hotel.
Day Six
Full Irish breakfast. A day in Galway is a nice break.
You can enjoy the city, cruise on Lake Corrib.
Overnight in City.
Day Seven
Full Irish breakfast. Departure down beautiful Galway Bay to Ballyvaughan.
Visits to Black Head and The magnificent Cliffs of Moher.
Continuation to Bunratty where it’s possible to visit the open-air museum around the Castle and the Bunratty Castle itself.
Overnight at Dromoland Castle.
Day Eight
Breakfast. Transfer to Airport.
Drop Car Off. Check In.
Arrive Home. Big Smiles. Great Memories.
